As anticipated, Jamie Radtke (dear Scarlett) is taking her flailing campaign out of state in a last ditch effort to try to get support from people who don’t know any better.

Mrs. Radtke is a political tool of old men who found a willing puppet to act out their sad vendetta against a long time political foe.   Her advisers are grade A ‘establishment’ — political behind the sceners who have been around the game for dozens of years. Jesse Helms consultant Carter Wrenn, a below the belt type who managed Democrat Lauch Faircloth’s victory over REAL conservative Republican Sue Myrick in North Carolina almost 30 years ago, is calling the shots in Radtke’s campaign!  And yet, we’re supposed to believe she is somehow not part of the professional political dens of inequity we have learned to distrust and despise?  Seriously?

The current political charade we are watching on Twitter and Facebook has been the fall-back strategy of the Radtke campaign for months. Radtke, positioning herself as the next Sarah Palin, hoping that Palin supporters (or Palin herself) would do the endorsement thing, would raise enough money from out of state to buy last minute attack ads to fool Virginia voters into voting for her.  Radtke is not Sarah Palin. Radtke has never been a Mayor, she was nowhere close to the Governor’s office. The only elective office she’s held is in her homeowner’s association. Simply being on “Team Palin” does not make one qualified for the US Senate. Simply being able to blurt talking points scripted by old men in back rooms doesn’t either.

If you live outside of Virginia, and have come to this website looking for more information, thinking Radtke sounds pretty good, don’t be played for a fool.  The numbers don’t lie.  Jamie Radtke cannot claim support of a majority who are members of the Richmond Tea Party — the group she led for awhile — and many tea party types who worked with her over the years support her opponents:  Bob Marshall, and E.W. “Bishop” Jackson.

You might not know there are others in the race, because Radtke aims to convince you that she’s the only anti-Allen alternative.  Never mind that doing so speaks to her lack of character.  A Tea Party leader should do better than that. The sin of omission is still a sin.

Take a moment to check out the other candidates who are far more qualified than Jamie Radtke for the US Senate. Marshall wrote the health care law opposing Obamacare in Virginia, sued Governor Tim Kaine over taxes and won — and has been a delegate in the General Assembly.   Jackson is a former U.S. Marine, a Harvard trained lawyer, a chaplain and author – who has oratory skills that would put Tim Kaine to shame.  But in Radtke’s world — she’s a mom with two cents, so, ergo, fully qualified for the US Senate.

Moms, like me, who have actually raised teenagers instead of using them as political props, know a pile of crap when they hear it. Give me a break sweetie.

It is my opinion that — as someone who led the Richmond Tea Party from February 2009, who helped build it to over 5,000 members and who introduced Radtke to other tea party leaders in Virginia when we were forming the Virginia Tea Party Patriot Federation — Radtke is a self promoter who used the tea party movement in order to make herself the face of it, and to advance herself in a political career. That’s the bottom line, and that view is not just mine.

Donna Holt, who heads the Campaign for Liberty, who has  done yeoman’s work to advance conservative causes and fight Agenda 21, is working for the nomination of Del. Bob Marshall.  Chip Tarbutton, who leads one of the most active and well respected tea party groups in the state, supports E.W. Jackson.  Radtke announced almost a year prior to those candidates – yet these well known, well respected conservative activists did not jump on her train.  Ask yourself…why?

Tom White, a well respected and awarded conservative blogger, recently wrote a scathing piece on Radtke after the last debate.  He clearly doesn’t support her bid.  Why?  Laura Alcorn, co-founder of the Richmond Patriots, a champion of conservative causes for years, does not support Jamie Radtke.

Why?

Through Radtke’s ties to “establishment” circles – she’s been in politics since graduating from Liberty University – back room media manipulators are using social media to advance a completely false narrative — the narrative that she has momentum and large support back in her home state.  All people need to do is look at her Facebook fans, her Twitter fans.  After a year and a half of campaigning, and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to tour around in a bus with her picture on it, she has barely raised her profile in Virginia.  This has to do, much, I’m sure, with her laughable resume.  Dig deeper into the titles on it, and you’ll see that it is marshmallow fluff. For some reason, in the primary, nobody seems to want to know what she actually DID, what she actually accomplished in her worklife, and WHO she worked for. The Tim Kaine campaign will dig deeper, though, count on it.

That she actually personally goes out of her way to compare herself to Sarah Palin, Deb Fischer and Marco Rubio really speaks volumes about her character.  Radtke has never held any elective office.  Her major life accomplishment is running a tea party group (into the ground, mostly).  How can she possibly believe herself as qualified as these others with a background of proven success?

If anything, Radtke compares more closely to Obama, another person woefully unprepared for the job, but who holds bizarre self-confidence that he is somehow special, somehow? prepared to pontificate and lead at a high level. Those who think of themselves as inspirational figures tend to do that, even though they have little to base it on, but the response of a few fawners in their little political circles who hope to tag along.

This should be another reminder to all of us how easily people can be misled by a well formed narrative, created and paid for by media manipulators who foist tools like Jamie Radtke on a gullible public that won’t take time to research things for themselves.
